  1. Ask Siri: "Add a countdown in Simple Count", then say "Christmas on December 25". Simple Count picks 🎄 and makes it repeat every year by itself. Or tap + in the app, set 25 December and set Repeat to yearly.
  2. Pick a look: red and green, a gradient, or a photo of last year's tree (photo backgrounds are part of Pro).

Make it more than a number

  • Gift list in the notes: every countdown has notes with sections and checklists. Make a "Gifts" section and tick people off as you go.
  • Count down together: share the countdown with family. Everyone sees the same countdown and notes on their own phone, widgets included.
  • Reminders: add a reminder 7 days before for last-minute shopping, or 1 day before for Christmas Eve plans.
  • The whole season: add Advent, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve too. The Next Event widget always shows the closest one.

Does the Christmas countdown reset after Christmas?

Yes, if it repeats yearly (Siri sets that for Christmas automatically). The day after Christmas it starts counting to next year's.
