Set up a trip countdown

  1. Add the trip with its date. Turn on Show countdown and set the flight time to count down to the minute.
  2. Add the widget to your Home Screen, with a beach photo behind it if you have Pro. How to add the widget.
  3. Share it with your travel buddies so everyone sees the same countdown and notes.

Everything for the trip in one place

  • Packing list: a checklist in the notes. Shared trips share it too, so nobody packs two speakers.
  • Bookings: sections for Hotel and Flights, with the confirmation PDF or a screenshot attached (Pro).
  • Flight day: in the last six hours, a Live Activity counts down to departure on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
  • Several trips? The Next Event widget always shows the closest one.

Can I share a trip countdown with friends?

Yes. With Count Down Together everyone sees the same countdown and notes, and changes update on every phone. Sharing one countdown is free.

Does it count down to the exact flight time?

Yes. Turn on Show countdown and set the time to see days, hours, minutes and seconds, plus a Live Activity in the last six hours.
